Kevin

Kevin Roop

MFC Manager

Kevin Roop has been helping people achieve their goals for over 25 years as a coach, trainer, instructor, mentor, and confidant.  Kevin has done this at many levels over his career, whether it be helping someone recover from an injury as a personal trainer, or coordinating training for World Cup Skiers as an Executive in the Ski Industry.

As an athlete, Kevin played Football and Soccer in High School, and was a member of the rugby team at the Virginia Military Institute in collage.  As youngster he also enjoyed skiing and biking, which drew him to Colorado after university.  Kevin still thrives on the thrill of competition by racing mountain bikes and has recently taken up the sport of Skimo or Ski Mountaineer Racing.  He enjoys sharing the sprit of competition with the next generation by coaching High School Mountain Biking, and has recently become the head strength and conditioning coach for the Nordic Program at Ski and Snowboard Club Vail.

Kevin feels it is important to be involved in the community by aligning himself with various non-profits.  He serves as a board member and treasure for Speech Up Reach Out, whose mission is to prevent suicides in Eagle County. Kevin is also active with First Descents, who provide outdoor adventures for young people who are fighting cancer.

Kevin has acquired many personal training certifications over the years ranging from nutrition, working with youth, women, the aging population, golfers and those participating in various team sports.  He also works part time in the Beaver Creek Ski School as a Private Lesson Instructor and Instructor Trainer.
